In recent years, the environmental reasons and financial condition, fuel efficient and environmentally friendly cars but have a strong power, the more popular. With the concept of “New Thinking. New Possibilities.” the Hyundai i40 which was designed at Hyundai’s European R&D headquarters in Russelsheim, Germany, produces performances and a variety of advanced features like a luxury sedan with a unique design language “fluidic sculpture” produces a dynamic exterior. As a tribute to the European consumers, 4 door saloon i40 comes standard with a Five Year Triple Care assurance package featuring a five-year unlimited-mileage warranty, five years of roadside assistance five years of vehicle health checks.
Engine
The all-new Hyundai i40 available with four Euro V-compliant engines, two 4-cylinder diesel engine, 1.7 liters with power 115 ps at 4,000 rpm and 260 Nm at 1,250-2,750 rpm of torque, 1.7 liters with power 136 ps at 4,000 rpm and 325 Nm at 2,000-2,500 rpm of torque while the two 4-cylinder petrol engine, 1.6 liters with power 135 ps at 6,300 rpm and 164 Nm at 4,850 rpm of torque, 2.0 liters with power 177 ps at 6,500 rpm and 208 Nm at 4,700 rpm of torque.
In terms of engine performance, top speed and acceleration of the all-new i40, 1.7 L/115 ps (190 km/h, 12.9 seconds), 1.7 L/136 ps (198 km/h, 10.6 seconds), 1.6 L/135 ps (195 km/h, 11.6 seconds), 2.0 L/177 ps (210 km/h, 9.7 seconds).
Environmentally Friendly
The all-new Hyundai i40 have been fitted with the latest technologies developed under Blue DriveTM eco-program including Integrated Stop & Go (ISG), low rolling resistance tires and an Alternator Management System (AMS) and the 1.7-liters diesel engine with a power 115 ps, the luxury sedan i40 produces CO2 emissions of just 113 g/km and fuel consumption 4.3 per 100 km and to be the most environmentally friendly model in its class, while the 2.0 L GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) with power 177 ps produces CO2 emissions only 1.59/km and fuel consumption 6.8 per 100 km (combined cycle).
The New Features
The features provided at the Hyundai i40 Diesel for comfort and tranquility in driving with the diesel engine, a new NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) package which use materials to absorb noise sources from engine, muffler and road and a reduction in outside engine noise such as air permeable carpet, sound absorbing layers for engine-room encapsulation and textile wheel-arch liners that was developed by using experimental methods such as Reciprocal Holography to visualize reduction levels at certain frequency and ADNA (Advanced Diagnostic Network Algorithm).
Other features available on the 2012 Hyundai i40, smart-parking assist, lane-keeping assist system, Bluetooth with voice recognition, full map navigation with rear view camera, an electric parking brake, front air ventilation seats, heated and reclining rear seats, auto-defog system that automatically detects and clear mist on the windscreen and a heated steering wheel. For lighting provided standard day-time running lights with Xenon headlamps (optional) or a TFT (Thin Film Transistor) LCD supervision instrument cluster.
Safety
In the terms of safety, the 2012 Hyundai fitted as standard active safety devices, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), ABS ( Anti-lock Braking System), Hill Star Assist Control (to prevent roll-back when starting on an incline), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), Brake Assist System and Emergency Stop Signal. Passive safety devices, with up to nine airbags-front, side and curtain, with a driver knee airbag as standard on all models. In the terms of safety has gained the maximum 5-star result on Euro NCAP’s impact assessment.

Environmentally friendly car should be promoted by the Government as CO2 emissions from traditional cars really causes many environmental problems.

The Government should encourage people to buy cars that do not pollute the environment. They are beautiful but unfortunately are very expensive
