Let’s see this Ferrari super car, 458 Italia. Since its introduction a year and half ago, sports car fitted with a V8 engine capacity 4.5 liters has reached a phenomenal achievement, recorded over 30 awards have been received from various countries around the world. He designed with the goal, making the drivers enjoy their cars on the road and experience the unique emotions from the car which was created to match the technology and performance developed for racing activities.
Ferrari 458 Italia with mounted engine capable of producing power 562 hp (419 kW; 570 PS) at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm (398 lbs-ft) at 6,000 rpm. With great power that far ahead of most every other V8-powered street car and supported by a fantastic performance as well as an amazing appearance, many achievements have been reached by the car which can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
From a variety of prestigious awards received by the sports car that has a maximum speed 325 km/hour, we start from the United States. At 2011 New York International Auto Show in April 2011, this Italian super car was set as the winner of the 2011 World Performance Car by setting aside 14 other cars. Ferrari 458 Italia entry in the big 3 with Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and the Porsche 911 turbo before it was declared the winner.
Before entering the big 3, the Ferrari 458 Italia and the 2 other finalists got rid of seven other cars that enter the top 10 list and they are Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Aston Martin Rapide, Porsche 911 GT2RS, Renault Megane III / Renault Sport, the Audi RS 5 Coupe, Mercedes-Benz 63 / CL 63 AMG and Cadillac CTS-V Coupe.
In 2010, another Ferrari car, California was becoming a finalist at the 2010 Performance Car of the Year 2010 with Porsche 911 GT3 which was won by the Audi R8 V10 and this year, Ferrari’s desire to achieve one of the world prestigious title became a reality, after the mid-engine sports car, 458 Italia declared as the winner and at the same time break the expectations of its two toughest rivals.
