Most Italian cars are much prettier in cabrio versions than the coupe, for example the murcielago, or the 8c. 458 Italia was already an amazing coupe. I believe the engine is ok, and that v12 is not needed. Ferrari produces cars ifor different customers, so there must be a wide model range, starting from “little” california, then 458, then the ff and 599 gtb. 599 gtb successor will be ideal for those who ask for v12. 458 italia for marketing and size reasons must wear a v8.
