Your Company Vehicle is a Portable Bill Board; A word of advice on children passengers

C
hild Safety Restraints and children in work vehicles

If you take your child in your work car, van, SUV or work truck, you should determine the type of safety seat thats appropriate to your childs age or weight and will allow you full control of the vehicle including use of the stick shift.

If your child is newborn to nine months or twenty pounds, use an infant safety seat. With this type of protection, the infant rides backwards in a semi-reclining position and is held in place by a built-in harness. The vehicles lap belt secures the safety seat in place. For comfort and added support, folded towels may be placed between the infants body and sides of the seat.

If your child is nine months to four years or forty pounds, use a toddler safety seat. There are two types of restraints: the harness and the booster seat. The harness in a wrap around seat comes across both shoulders and up between the legs. The padded sides offer protection. The seat is secured by the vehicles safety belt. Some models are anchored at the top with a bolt. If you use this type, you must install the anchor bolt on the rear shelf or the seat will be unsafe. In the elevated booster seat, the child is secured by the vehicle lap belt and either the vehicle shoulder belt or the special harness sold with the unit, which required an anchor bolt.

If your child is over four years, we recommend that you use the safety belt in the company car, van, SUV or work truck. Remember, your family is your first priority.

Do not let kids ride in the back of a work truck. If you should take your company van or truck to little league, AYSO, Girl Scouts, cheerleading, band tournaments, etc. for advertising that is a smart thing to do indeed and yes this is good for business. People see the company van or truck with logos, make sure when others see your portable advertisement they see it being used properly with the safety of the children also in mind. If you go to pizza afterwards, only take as many kids as available seat belts. Please stay safe and protect your business from liability lawsuits and above all lets keep the kids safe too, someday they will be working for you or maybe running your business in your retirement, think about it please.

Laser Attack, EA, Scalar Attack on Composite Manufactured Vehicles

More and more future fighting vehicles introduced at the Military Trade Shows in Pakistan, China, Israel seem to contain composite material as integral components to save weight. This composite material is lightweight and has many advantages to the high cost of exotic alloy. Composite is also free from the corrosive properties of aluminum and rusting properties of iron. It is for this reason we will world fighting vehicles switch to composite components whenever heavy armor is not needed. We will also see a trend towards ceramic-composite combinations in substitute for steel armor. Lighter war vehicles, harder to see on radar, lighter and faster, greater range and longer lasting to deal with seasonal changes on the surface of the planet causing rust and corrosion.

These vehicles having these advantages also have a disadvantage of scalar or laser attack. If our weaponry can cause the material to over heat the composite will give off toxic fumes, which will kill the occupants or cause them to flee the vehicle. Thus for every vehicles which is abandoned our forces achieve one more fighting vehicle. Anyone who has ever played Risk will realize that it takes a lot less time to manufacture a new modern war-fighting vehicle than to capture one free of charge. We are currently building Future Fighting Vehicles, which contain composite components for the same reason that other arms traders and manufacturers are around he world.

Since we all countries capable of fighting a modern war will have these composite made vehicles, it makes sense that any future adversary will make, buy, sell or use such weapons against us. If a partially composite constructed fighting vehicle is to be manned then sending in a laser or scalar wave to super heat the vehicle is a relevant tactic. Overwhelming the human occupants to get them to abandon the vehicles or to help them pre-maturely expire will add one more vehicle to our side and help quickly reduce the threat, thus win the battle.

Injuries from Minor Vehicle Collisions

Approximately 12.8 million motor vehicle accidents in the United States were reported on December 2003. This amounts to about one crash per second – quite an alarming data.

To boot, we should dispel myths, misconceptions and erroneous judgment about vehicular accidents. Some say that drunk persons dont get injured as much. This is fallacious. A study showed that occupants of the vehicle who were aware of the immediate danger of collision had less severe injuries and considerably less at risk. Another erroneous assumption is that the amount of injury is directly proportionate to the amount of damage to the car. There can be grave inverse correlation between vehicle damage and injury levels. As the vehicle becomes more rigid or inflexible, damage costs are lessened however the occupant is susceptible to an increasing potential for injury.

Aside from the aforementioned assumption, others also believed that few residual spinal problems result from MVA injuries. The truth is that spinal injury is the primary concern in a collision. Minor injuries include cervical spine trauma, neck injuries, soft tissue abnormality, cervical-thoracic injury and post MVA disabilities.

Another misconception is that if a vehicle has a 2.5 m.p.h. bumper and said bumper was not damaged, the impact was under 2.5 m.p.h.
Empirical evidence discloses that in vehicle to vehicle collisions, the bumpers will not likely be damaged until bumper standard speed has been exceeded by a factor of 2 to 8 times. It is noteworthy that the design of modern bumpers often prevents the direct observation of bumper damage without physical removal of the bumper.

The vehicles speed determination can be both qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative is typically subjective and involves personal observations of witnesses or participants. Quantitative determination, on the other hand, involves the determination of the precise number of range. This can be made in two ways. The first one is direct measurement and the second is the application of laws of physics to the physical evidence of collisions. Quantitative method though, has its limitations. Often there is limited physical data on pre-impact action or post-impact movements. As a consequence, it is often necessary to combine quantitative physical evidence and the qualitative observations of the participants regarding actions and movement.

The bottom line here is that in all vehicular accidents, no matter how minor the damage, the individual injured should seek medical attendance for examination or consultation so that he will know if there is grave damage and for the doctors to give him medication or treatment.
